I found the staff to be both courteous and professional. I orginally booked for 7 nights with a mind to see what other accomodation was available but have been more than happy with the services and have decided to extend my stay.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the tuk-tuk driver (Mr Sam Oth Pol - (855) 92989805 / 978323676). I think it is really good value for money and would definitely stay there again. The internet is relatively fast, the rooms were nice, large and clean, the furniture is very nice for such a budget hotel. Free bottled water! :)
The hotel's location is good but the road that goes to Pub street is not good at all. It was raining and if you walk that road you're full of mud by the time you get to pub street. It's no problem to get a tuk-tuk though. The only other thing that was a bit of a problem was that the hotel gates were locked late in the evening (/ early in the morning). So be sure to organise with the staff if you'll be coming in late so that you don't have to climb over the gate (like my fellow traveler).
Very friendly staff. Allways smilling
The tuk tuk drivers were insistent. They want to sell you tours all teh time and they didnt accept a no. The location could be better. The street its dark, but we didnt have any problem with that (I mean muggs)
- probably one of the cleanest hotels I stayed at in Asia and very friendly staff
it's down a very dark dirt road, so even though it is probably a 5 minute walk from town and pub street, i wouldn't walk it in the dark on my own.
Fantastic place, nice rooms, free internet and breakfast
Some towels from the last tennants were left in the room, but our clean ones were there too.
The staff were really friendly, polite & helpful. Hotel has a pleasant atmosphere. The room was fairly basic but good for the price. Breakfast again was nothing fancy but did the job. Be aware the hotel is about 5min walk from Pub St down a dusty road with local shops which I found fine but if you prefer hotel staff are always ready with a tuk tuk. The guy that picked us up from the airport took us on tours we booked through the hotel & looked after us while we were there. Has computers with free internet.
They only had coffee & tea with breakfast which I don't drink (or just botttled water).
Free -internet Bicycle mineral water coffee or tea value for money
road leading to hotel is dusty
when we arrived they say that no room avaible they had so we have to move to another hotal very bad....
The staff were wonderful and I could not fault them. The room (at the back) that I had the first night was rather noisy due to a barking dog and they moved me to the front of the hotel to a much nicer room at no extra charge. The hotel is furnished beautifully and I would recommend it highly to anyone.
Only slight downside is the distance from the town centre (Pub St) ... although only a 7 or 8 minute walk it's a dirt road and badly lit so you really need to take a tuk tuk "home" late at night.
there is free breakfast juice coffee and tea.and the free 'tutucar' to pick you up to the center of the city. it is so near to the old market that you can go there to have dinner, buy some fruit and buy some things that is the locial. it's very good! the people in this hotel is very kind and open-minded as well as warm-harted.they'd like to talk with you anytime. and there is a person can speak Chineese! there offer some computers so that you can surfing all the day.
A bit far away for a walking to a night market and central places. But they do have free tuk-tuk ;)
Free tea and coffee at any time, good water pressure and heat.
Slow internet, laundry charge seemed high
Little bit far from Pub Street, but you can always take 1 dollar took-took. And in the other hand it is quite there, no any noise from Pub Street. The everything other is great.
The friendliness and willingness of the staff to help, and the way they arranged our transport for any trips we took.
The breakfast s only some bread and a fried egg, for an extra dollar or two they should consider providing more options
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful staff, owner is hands on and is always there to assist!
